Janice Freeman who was a contestant on The Voice back in 2017 has died at the age of 33-years-old. A spokesperson for Freeman stated that Freeman had a bad case of pneumonia and a blood clot that traveled to her heart. Freeman’s husband, Dion performed CPR until ambulance took her to a local hospital, where she died Saturday. A survivor and fighter Janice gained notoriety through her success on The Voice. Her story inspired fans having successfully battled cervical cancer and living her life to the fullest while fighting lupus. Celebrities such as Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus paid tribute on Instagram stating how much of an impact she was to the world and how she is going to be missed. Freeman is survived by her husband, her daughter Hannah, her mother Janice, siblings and extended family.
Janice Freeman’s death is definitely a great impact and a sad impact all in one. Everything that she has suffered was sad but she fought like a survivor fights and kept pushing through. Her story is sort of similar to my siblings because all three are battling with Lupus but I look at them everyday and see how much of fighters they are. Freeman’s light definitely shined not only through her surviving but through her voice.
There are no questions to be asked because death is not questionable. Everybody dies but not everybody lives. Freeman will definitely live through her family and her voice will still be heard throughout the world.
